General Terms and Conditions (GTC)

Article 1: general

Académie Scientifique de Beauté (commercial name: Académie Groupe) is an SAS with a capital of €435,000 registered in the Versailles Trade and Companies Register under number B592 023 345.

These conditions govern the sales of the company Académie Scientifique de Beauté made via its merchant site accessible from the website www.academiebeaute.com and only for individuals.

The general conditions of sale are intended to define the sales regime and the rights and obligations arising therefrom.

Académie Scientifique de Beauté reserves the right to modify these general conditions of sale and guarantees at any time.

The customer acknowledges having read and accepted the terms and conditions of these conditions of sale.

Article 2: specific provisions for the sale of products on the site

Article 2.1: availability of products

In accordance with Article L. 111-1 of the Consumer Code, the buyer may, prior to his order, take note, directly on the site, of the essential characteristics of the product(s) he wishes to order. Furthermore, in the event that the buyer wishes to obtain qualified advice on the products, a Customer Service is made available to him.

Our product offers are valid as long as they are present on the site and this, within the limit of available stocks of products.

In case of unavailability of the products after placing the order, we will inform you by email and will send you only the ordered products available.

We will proceed to the partial refund (in the event of partial delivery) or total (in the event of cancellation) of the payment within 30 days. Reimbursement will be made, via the website, to the same card used for payment.

Article 2.2: Ordering products

To buy the products, the buyer should connect to the Academiebeaute.com website to select these products and fill in the information allowing the invoicing, delivery and payment of his order to be established. An online order of products entails:

  • Initially: the sending by e-mail of an order confirmation, it being specified that the acknowledgment of receipt of the order will in no case constitute confirmation of the availability of the product(s) ordered or validation of the payment of the order.
  • In a second step: the sending by e-mail of the invoice and a delivery follow-up allowing the customer to follow his order
  • Thirdly: the delivery of the products, to the address indicated by the buyer when placing his order for the products and via the delivery method selected by the buyer.

Note that the customer will be informed by e-mail if his bank invalidates the payment. The order will then be automatically cancelled.

If, during the preparation of the order, products are unavailable, the customer will be informed by e-mail and will be reimbursed for them.

Article 2.3: Warranties & After-Sales Service

In any case, the buyer benefits from the legal guarantee of eviction and hidden defects provided for in articles 1641 of the civil code and following. In the event of non-compliance of the products with respect to the order or delivery of a product revealing a hidden defect, the company undertakes to reimburse the price of the product within a maximum period of 30 days following the buyer's request. .

With the exception of the specific case of non-compliance of the products with respect to the order, there is no possible exchange of product. If the buyer changes his mind and wishes to exchange a product ordered for a new product, he must, under his right of withdrawal, return the product. This will be refunded. To have a new product, the buyer must place a new order on the website.

For any purchase on the website www.academiebeaute.com , the Customer has a period of 14 days from the day of receipt of his order to exercise his right of withdrawal without giving any reason.

In accordance with Article L.121-28 of the Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for contracts for the supply of goods which have been unsealed by the Customer after delivery and which cannot be returned for reasons hygiene or health protection (e.g. care products, make-up, etc.).

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the Customer must notify Académie Scientifique de Beauté ( Scientific Academy of Beauty, Customer Service, 157-189, rue Léon Jouhaux, CS 70502, 78507 Sartrouville Cedex) of their decision to withdraw before the expiry of the period. by means of an unambiguous statement (eg letter sent by post or e-mail).

In the event of withdrawal by the Customer, Académie Scientifique de Beauté will reimburse the amount of his order.

Article 3: order

An order is deemed to have been placed on the website and the general conditions of sale and guarantees accepted once the buyer has validated his payment. The data recorded by the company and the secure payment provider constitute proof of the nature, content and date of the order.

The buyer's double click under the order constitutes an electronic signature which has the same value as a handwritten signature. The double click and the acceptance of the general conditions of sale and guarantees (check box) constitute an irrevocable and unreserved acceptance of the order by the buyer.

The sale will only be considered final after the company has sent the order confirmation to the buyer and has collected the full price.

The company reserves the right to cancel any order from a buyer with whom there is a previous payment dispute or for any other legitimate reason, particularly in view of the abnormal nature of the order.

At any time, the buyer can follow his order via his account if he has chosen to create one via the "My orders" section.

Article 3: price

The prices of the products are expressed in euros and include all taxes (TTC), excluding participation in processing and shipping costs, the lump sum of which varies according to the buyer's choice, i.e.:

  • €4.95 for a So Colissimo (without signature)

Said fixed amount will be applied and indicated during the final validation of the order by the buyer. The cost of delivery via So Colissimo will be borne by Académie Scientifique de Beauté for any order whose total amount after reduction is greater than or equal to €60.

The products remain the property of the company until full payment of the price.

Any promotional offers are valid as long as they are announced on the website and cannot be combined.

Article 4: loyalty program

To be able to participate in the Académie Scientifique de Beauté Loyalty Program, the consumer registers via the Académie & Moi section.

20 points will be credited when the account is created. He can also enter his date of birth in order to receive his birthday offer.

Each order placed by the buyer is rewarded with points. For 1 euro spent, 1 loyalty point is offered. If the number of points acquired is not a whole number, then it is rounded up to the next euro. The amount taken into account to calculate the number of points is that of the Total Items including VAT, any reductions deducted. Delivery costs are excluded from the calculation of loyalty points.

The validity of the points has no time limit except for the closure of the buyer's Académie & Moi account at the latter's express request or on the decision of Académie Scientifique de Beauté.

The loyalty points accumulated by the buyer entitle him to a 20% reduction to be applied to a future purchase on the site www.academiebeaute.com.

When the customer reaches 200 points, he must go to the Academy & Me section to generate its -20% voucher (valid for 6 months from the date of issue). The points are then automatically deducted from his account and he will receive a promotional code by email or directly visible on his Académie & Moi account. These reductions cannot under any circumstances give rise to a payment or reimbursement of money.

The points allocated to the buyer's loyalty account for the order of a product finally returned will be credited back to his loyalty account once the buyer has been reimbursed.
